Principal Certification
The Principal Certification program prepares teachers for the TExES Principalship Exam. To earn this certificate, you first need your initial educator certification. You must take preparatory classes in educational administration, and also take and pass the principalship TExES examination.

*Please allow 3-5 business days to receive Student ID before submitting additional supporting documents. Submit all supporting documents online. |
The student must select an additional six hours from any EDAD master’s degree or in certain instances from the EDLD doctoral degree.
The Principal Certificate also requires the student obtain a passing score on the Principal’s TExES examination.
